The Hoopes' 80's party

The Hoopes 80's Birthday Party was so fun! There are so many things about the 80's I forgot:
Notice: the legwarmers, Sharmans tube top/w overalls, Jason's parachute pants, Regina is wearing Esprit shoes (remember Esprit?) Jere is sporting the whole Don Johnson thing: "are you sure I can't wear socks?" There were too many mullets!!
The Hoopes are always such great hosts!
Happy Birthday Eric and Sharman!!

We are in the middle of remodel misery. I wonder if I will ever get the energy to finish everything that I have started! Besides gutting and reorganizing, I have started major decorating projects. It may be a good thing that I am not too quick, I have already changed my mind about the paint color and texture. Do you ever wish there were ten of you?

Vacation to Nauvoo 7/07
In July, we had the opportunity to visit Nauvoo and many other LDS historical sites. Here we are in Adam-ondi-Omen. We loved the pageant in Nauvoo. One of our favorite things were the fireflys!

My Daughter Natalie and her new Hubby Kevin. They were married 3/07. The reception was so beautiful! With 350 white paper lanterns, how can you go wrong?

25 Years!!

25 Years!!
When planning our 25th anniversary we wanted to do something special. We thought of our 25th anniversary as a birthday for our family. Only one of our daughters could make it, but we had so much fun. Too bad land in Telluride is sold by the square foot or we'd have to move or somethin'!!

Our 25th anniversary trip. It was so cold the "locals" stayed in all week!
